Tyson Chicken Strip Recall: Protect Yourself From Harmful Toxins in Food
Harmful Toxins in Food: The recent Tyson chicken strip recall of nearly 12 million pounds of chicken strips due to contamination from pieces of metal is cause for concern. But what does this say about the quality of our food supply in general? Our modern food supply is not only tainted with visible extraneous materials. But also (and perhaps more insidiously) invisible microdoses of harmful chemicals that may cause health concerns in the long run. Going organic is a start, but daily cellular detox is also imperative.
American Mega-Chain Tyson Recalls Nearly 12 Million Pounds of ‘100% Natural’ Chicken Strips Due to Possible Metal Contamination
Tyson Foods Inc. has recalled 11.8 million pounds of their ready-to-eat chicken strips after pieces of metal have been found in products across the country. This is their second recall of 2019, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service. They confirmed in a statement that this was an increase from Tyson’s prior recall of 69,000 pounds of ‘100% natural’ chicken-strips in March of this year.
The Latest Tyson Chicken Strip Recall
Each of the recalled products has the establishment number “P-7221” on the back of the package.
The products are no longer limited to Tyson. The expanded list of recalled products also includes brands Ahold, Kirkwood, Best Choice, Food Lion, Giant Eagle, Great Value, Hannaford, Meijer, Publix, and Sparetime.
Products included in the Tyson chicken strip recall include:
- Tyson fully cooked honey BBQ flavored chicken strips in 25-ounce bags;

The products currently being recalled were produced from October through March 8. They have “use by” dates of October 1, 2019, through March 7, 2020.
Contaminants in Food: This is Not A First
Product recalls are not new. Keeping companies accountable for the contents of their products is one of the major roles the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) as well as other governing bodies.
Recalls can occur due to faulty products that break and may cause injury. They can be due to physical pieces that have accidentally entered the product (like these pieces of metal). Food is often recalled due to contamination from harmful substances such as led in paint, or harmful chemicals like glyphosate or heavy metals in food or beverages.
Tyson’s metal chicken strip fiasco was attributed to their faulty machinery, which also included a metal x-ray machine that failed to detect the metal making its way into the chicken strips. But the incidence of contamination is not new to the company. In 2019 alone, Tyson Foods has also faced recalls due to rubber being found in their chicken nuggets, as well as pieces of wood being found in their gluten-free chicken nuggets. This draws suspicion to the nature of pre-made foods by very large production facilities in general. This is one of the many reasons why it is powerful to cook for yourself at home using whole ingredients.
Contaminants: They Are Not Always Visible
The complaints in question regarding Tyson’s chicken strips were involving “extraneous material”, in other words: visible metal particles. Needless to say, this is a major problem. The US Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service released a statement that physical injury of the mouth had occurred in some of the cases. But harmful contaminants are not limited to things that can cause us physical harm at the moment.
As humans, we are wired to think of pain and harm with immediate cause-and-effect. Our ancestors did not have to deal with the type of toxic chemical loads that we do in modern times. Prehistoric populations had immediate physical pain as an indicator of harm: either being attacked (by a predator) or a self-inflicted injury (like a cut or a burn). Today, we are assaulted from every angle with artificial scents, foods, and products; these products may not harm us instantly, but over a lifetime they may cause serious neurological and physical damage to our brains and bodies.
The hidden issue in modern times is not the incidence of large contaminants like rubber, metal, or wood in our foods (albeit a major problem), it is indeed the small traces of harmful chemicals that go unnoticed in the short-run. These toxins build up in our blood and are stored in our brains, bones, and other tissues– until they begin to manifest themselves as ‘unexplained’ diseases (passed down through generations).
A Generation of Toxic Food
Toxicity in the modern food industry has become commonplace. From the way we grow our foods to the way they are processed, to how they are handled and packaged, to how they are stored– there seem to be infinite ways in which food is harming our health.
- Apart from the problematic high-sugar content of high-fructose corn syrup, HFCS is also notoriously contaminated with led;
- Brown rice syrup (a common “healthy” sweetener alternative) is actually commonly contaminated with arsenic, even when 100% organic;
- Mercury contamination in large fish like tuna and swordfish, even when wild;
- Red wine (even organic) commonly contaminated with glyphosate (100% of California wines contaminated);
- Estimated 80% of extra-virgin Italian olive oil is actually contaminated with highly inflammatory, rancid vegetable oils;
- Protein powders are commonly sourced from low-quality sources tainted with a variety of heavy metals.
The Solution: Go Organic
Going organic is no longer a luxury in our modern toxic world. Organically grown food is not immune to toxicity (especially in areas where water irrigation is used), but it is our best bet when it comes to eating food that hasn’t been saturated with toxins.
There are more major offenders, namely corn, soy, and wheat– that are notoriously dangerously high in harmful chemicals like herbicide Glyphosate unless they are 100% organic and non-GMO.
The Solution: Detox
Unfortunately, even going 100% organic is not enough for most people living modern lives. We are being assaulted from every angle: from airborne toxins (car fumes, and even the air we breathe), to our water supply (groundwater, tap water, rain), to the chemicals in our food (herbicides and pesticides that have even infiltrated organic produce). Not to mention all the pollutants from our childhood and passed down from two generations.
If you are living in a modern world, it is imperative you help truly heal your body with the support of proper daily detoxification. A proper detox will take you through three phases. (1) A preparatory phase, (2) a body phase, and (3) a brain phase. The preparatory phase targets your detox pathways to support and upregulate the cell function. The body phase is when we introduce a powerful binder, to help move the toxins out of the body. And finally, the brain phase is when we add a fat-soluble agent to support neurotoxin elimination. All these steps are integral to true cellular healing and detox.
Four Products To Safely Detox
These four products to help you navigate your way safely and effectively through the three phases of detox. (1) GCEL increases the cells natural ability to undergo this natural mechanism, (2) BIND and (3) CytoDetox enter the cell membrane and act as a vehicle to getting rid of the toxins as we up-regulate cell function, and prevent reabsorption, and (4) BrainDTX to support neurotoxin elimination.
Three phases achieved with the help of four great products: that’s true cellular detox.

And Speaking of True Cellular Detox…
We just reopened our 90-Day True Cellular Detox (TCD) Program (click here for more about it), which represents the most cutting-edge approach to cleansing and cellular rejuvenation available today. There’s a reason why it sells out every time we have a new class and often has a waiting list. Because TCD WORKS… even for individuals who have “tried everything and nothing has worked.”
True Cellular Detox is for anyone who wants peak health—and it’s especially for those who have issues, like slow metabolism, brain issues (including difficulty managing stress), chronic fatigue, chronic pain, trouble sleeping, and more—and yet don’t know why. Because the mainstream medical system (conventional OR alternative) is simply NOT equipped to deal with the deep cellular disruption created by heavy metal toxicity and environmental pollution.
By the time you read this, enrollment in TCD will have been opened for 24 hours or more, which means the available spots could be taken. But if you GO TO THIS PAGE and it’s still live—that means there’s space available. Whatever you decide, we look forward to helping you understand the truth about our rising toxic exposure, and how to protect yourself and loved ones in the time ahead.
