Ingredients:
- 15 oz. can of chickpeas, drained and rinsed
- 1⁄2 cup chopped onion
- 1⁄2 tsp. ground cumin
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1⁄2 tsp. ground pepper
- 1⁄2 tsp. turmeric (optional)
- 2-3 Tbsp. almond flour
- 2-4 Tbsp. olive oil or coconut oil, for blending and frying
Directions:
- 1. In a food processor, blend all ingredients except almond flour, adding olive oil to ease mixing as needed.
- 2. Form mixture into burgers and place each into the flour blend, coating each side.
- 3. In a frying pan, heat oil to medium-high and cook patties on each side until browned.
